Wireless Network Solutions
Argon ST is a recognized leader in defense wireless communications, with core competencies in systems engineering, waveforms, innovative networking, and management. Our wireless networking team has developed ground-breaking technologies that address the most challenging demands of net-centric warfare. We’ve used those innovations to build and deploy advanced military wireless networks that automatically discover connections to each other, as well as to higher bandwidth gateways and access points.
Mobile Ad Hoc Networks
Building on our wireless networking expertise, Argon ST has developed a suite of technologies for addressing the system performance challenges of Mobile Ad Hoc Networks. These networks extend the reliability of wired connectivity into the realm of wireless domains that are both dynamic and mobile, and they often rely on batteries or other exhaustible means for power. Whether for an individual soldier radio, a sensor system, or an autonomous vehicle, reducing the energy consumption in an ad hoc network is critical. Argon ST’s mobile ad hoc networking technologies meet the challenge.
Multiple-Input Multiple-Output Networking
Argon ST is also developing Mobile Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output (MIMO) networking technology to dramatically improve the throughput of communications channels for mobile-to-mobile communications. Smart antenna technologies, coupled with the latest MIMO communications techniques, exploit the multi-path characteristics of radio frequency propagation to deliver robust, jammer resistant, LPD, and/or high-throughput RF communications.
Interference-Resistant Technologies
In a signal-dense battle zone, reliable communication is impossible without interference-resistant technologies for wireless and satellite communications. Argon ST is leveraging its adaptive beam-forming expertise to assure the accurate and continuous functionality of GPS receivers and other interference-resistant technologies.
